Basements are a known area to have moisture problems, and drywall is often a victim to it. We came to look at the damaged drywall in Mr. Wallace's basement and made a plan of how to proceed. Thankfully, the moisture hadn’t gotten the entire drywall and the contractors were still able to fix the boards. They removed the pieces of gypsum boards that couldn't be saved and prepared new material to go in its place. Once they set that in, they spread a plaster layer to cover it. You couldn't tell there had ever been an issue of water damage in Mr. Wallace's basement. It looked like there had never been a problem at all. All the parts of the wall that had been replaced were secure and appeared as perfect as before the issue had begun.
